METALogic annually increases the number of tests within the scope of ISO 17025 and has recently added a number of tests that fall under the Qualicoat test programme.

ISO 17025 is an international standard specifically for testing and calibration laboratories and provides guidelines that a good quality management system must meet. It is therefore about the quality of business processes and how this quality can be permanently implemented. This is the only way to control, evaluate and improve processes. What are the advantages of accreditation and why should companies have it?

Added value for METALogic - TÜV AUSTRIA Group services
A good quality system guarantees confidence in the conformity of services and thus in the execution and reporting of tests.
Obtaining ISO accreditation means that independent auditors from BELAC (the accreditation body in Belgium) have assessed that all requirements of the ISO standard have been met 100 percent. In order to continue to guarantee this, control tests are carried out at set times.
Scope

An ISO 17025 accreditation is always associated with a scope in which certain tests are described under accreditation. The tests selected within the scope depend on the company specialisation and the requirements of the own customers. Whenever the scope is extended, the quality processes for these tests must be fully documented and described within the existing quality system and are subject to a new audit.

Accreditation to ISO 17025 is not mandatory.
A laboratory with ISO 17025 accreditation for a number of tests will usually have a quality advantage. Although laboratories rarely have all their tests within their scope, in order to obtain ISO 17025 accreditation, the general basic quality related aspects described in a quality manual must be in order.

METALogic's ISO 17025 accreditation is internationally regocnized
The reports and certificates issued by BELAC-accredited bodies enjoy international recognition.

BELAC has signed all agreements and accreditations which exist within the framework of the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA), the International Cooperation for Laboratory Accreditation (ILAC) and FALB (Forum of Accreditation and Licensing Bodies).
