Strain and stress measurements, vibration testing, residual stress analysis, modal analysis, thermal performance testing, production of special testing devices, software development, and further advanced solution have made Florence-based SINT TECHNOLOGY an industry-leading testing services provider for industrial components, machines and plants.
Renowned for its expertise in Italy’s industry sector, SINT TECHNOLOGY strengthens its center of excellence in cooperation with TÜV AUSTRIA, which has acquired a majority stake. Citing significant synergy potential, TÜV AUSTRIA Italia general manager Crescenzo Di Fratta elaborates on how the acquisition promotes innovation in the service of safety and security: “In the field of remote acoustic emission monitoring, for instance, we are now combining TÜV AUSTRIA’s know-how in data engineering and machine learning as well as structural health monitoring with SINT Technology’s expertise”.
As a member of TÜV AUSTRIA Group – which is active in more than 25 countries - a broad scope of new, scalable testing services is being developed, SINT TECHNOLOGY’s Emilio Valentini announces: “We operate at a high level of technological expertise and the most important factor of our activity are our highly qualified engineers. The cooperation with TÜV AUSTRIA will be fundamental to increase our market worldwide, in particular for remote monitoring and diagnostics."
SINT TECHNOLOGY and TÜV AUSTRIA Group
This joint action has started a fluent cross-company exchange of culture and knowledge that goes beyond national borders. TÜV AUSTRIA Group member SINT TECHNOLOGY will now diversify further regionally in Tuscany, throughout Italy and abroad.
TÜV AUSTRIA’s Di Fratta adds that the close cooperation with the well-established and accredited laboratory strengthens TÜV AUSTRIA’s market position in the field of industrial services in Italy: “SINT TECHNOLOGY caters to a broad base of industrial customers requiring advanced testing services and the supply of state-of-the-art measurement and diagnostic systems”. Di Fratta continues that national and international customers of SINT TECHNOLOGY conversely benefit from complementary TÜV AUSTRIA services.
Step into the future
With 50 companies in over 25 countries, the TÜV AUSTRIA Group responded immediately to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. All sectors needed support, which was provided by the Austrian group's digitization strategy and the efforts of more than 2,000 experts - and continues to this day. Because TÜV AUSTRIA is not defined by a limited range of testing services, the testing, inspection and certification company integrates technologies and methods across all sectors in order to live up to its claim and responsibility for safety and security, especially during the crisis, in view of the high demand for technical safety solutions and training measures.
Its orientation as an innovative partner that connects technology, environment and society in order to live the future in a sustainable, resource-saving and secure way is now presented in the new claim of the TÜV AUSTRIA Group: "digital.now | Connecting Technology. Living the Future."
