In addition to general safety-related issues in hotels and accommodation facilities, aspects of water and kitchen hygiene are checked, also fire protection, emergency management, IT security as well as the condition of the systems and equipment that are subject to testing.
The TÜV AUSTRIA standard is significantly different from other evaluation systems. It is much more about looking behind the scenes. The "Hotel Safety & Security" certificate confirms the highest degree of safety to hoteliers for the guests and their property as well as for the employees.
