In the laboratories and test sites of TÜV AUSTRIA at home and abroad there is a lot of activity. Strictly separated teams work in shifts on wheel and tyre tests for national and international manufacturers as well as vehicle and component tests, for example in the field of vehicle conversion for ambulances, goods and heavy goods transport, crane vehicles, taxis, executive and army vehicles.
Support for transport infrastructure maintainers
The TÜV AUSTRIA motor vehicle technicians also provide support services for traffic infrastructure maintenance companies to maintain traffic and operational safety on Austria's roads.
External inspection drive-in and remote accreditation audit
At the beginning of April, a customer contact-minimized external inspection drive-in for testing the operational safety of converted vehicles was also put into operation at TÜV AUSTRIA Technology & Innovation Center in Vienna, Austria.
